The first three cans are early ones and last one is a later can. Maybe different can manufacturer also. Sometimes, the copyright date does not mean much on some items.

This one was in the classic car dealership on 2nd?? in downtown Spokane. It is like mine, a repop that is marked with a date from the late 80s and I commended them on it! They were making no attempt to sell it as a original or to cover up the date.

Hi all! LOVE this site so far--I'm new to the hobby as I have been collecting antique gas engines for over 40 years. I just got my first pump--a Tokheim model 300. Two questions: - where can I get a parts and service manual to aid in my restoratio

4 different Auntomtive Lubricant cans. Notice how the can on the far right has a different lid. All cans dated with a copyright date of 1937. Does anyone else have this can and does it have this same 'paint can' type lid? Just seems odd to me.

Interesting about the NE US theory. I bought a matching round logo one, just like Mark's, from a Texaco collection from New Jersey a few years ago.
