Saw this being offered locally. Unsure of price and this is the only picture I have. Only looking to grab it to flip if cheap (doubt it). The value based on what I can see should be around $1000. Am I far off?
......along with every other item he is selling on eBay.
Yes everything the guy sells is fake. Picked up on that fact doing a search for red indian signs the other night. Seller has a 30 in. one that would fool some if not looking at the whole picture. Anytime I question one on ebay I always look at what else seller has.
Found this recently. Not in my wheel house. Was wondering if anyone had an idea of value. The sign is DS but faded the same both sides. The base and frame are in great survivor shape. I guess the value is in the base & frame. The base reads “Amalie Oils & Greases” Thank you
Kind of scary the quality of unmarked repros is improving. 99% of the time the fonts are modern, or there is something easy to spot. This sign looks fake to me but I can't really point to anything on it to say why.
You need to do it right and get a manifold. Bolt it in then install the site glass. Otherwise, there will be no way, in my opinion, to install it correctly and try to keep it from falling out. Paul www.severngaspumps.com
I am restoring a Gilbarco 900 series pump. Any ideas on the best way to install a site glass in the V trim so it doesn't fall through the hole in the door.. The inside mechanism has been removed that the site glass would have connected to.
