Paint a color that Pleases You. Once the sheet metal is installed, it won't be seen till someone else decides to re-paint the outer shell. I don't remember ever finding paint on the pump mech. [visibles or electrics] on ones that I have dismantled.

I've seen some small and medium New England Coke signs. They are shields. Dark in color. What era are they and what do they go for? There was one on the sign in table at the show in CT over the winter in Orange/Milford. "Coke" as in steel
