Can anyone help me find the little screw clips that hold the stainless trim above the door on a tokheim 39. the trim pieces I have are in great shape but all the screws broke off when I removed it.
Thanks much! K Baird

In the event you can't find originals, cut a thin strip of very light gauge sheet metal about an inch shorter than the stainless trip strip and just wide enough to insert into the grooves on the back of stainless. After sliding the strip in the back, position the strip on the top and mark the holes from the backside and drill. Grind the heads flat on small machine screws and insert from the backside and reinsert the strip with the screws extending outward. This will still allow adjustment of the strip so that the door moves under it in position when the door latch raises the door and locks into place. OR.... buy some trim clips at the autobody paint store that can be cut to width and make new clips.

Any auto parts store as AutoZone, NAPA, etc. carry these small packages of interior trim clips. They are spring loaded and slide right into the pump trim groove. You may have to put a spacer/washer between the piece and the top so the door will slid up under it. Good luck. Gary
