Does anyone have knowledge of "Pyramid Oil co" I saw a very old tin painted sign I would estimate from the 20's. Shows a Pyramid, Camel and 2 palm trees. Very weathered but still neat. Never heard of the co. There is a modern Pyramid oil from Bakersfield Ca but I doubt it is the same co. Thanks George

Sorry for the poor photo quality, but my camera SUCKS..... (I'll delete that if I need to)

If your talking about this Pyramid Oil Company, they do nothing other than drill for and pump oil, then sell it to whoever buys it. They have never had a "Retail" marketing operation.

There was a Pyramid company in New Jersey though.

BTW this is a 1922 stock certificate. I do find these on occasion, if anybody is interested.....

Lets see a pic of the sign. If you cant post it, e-mail it to me and I'll post it for you.....

Craig Solomonson is a fellow Minneapolitan and map collector. Here is a picture off of his web site www.solomonson.net

I also have an ink blotter from Pyramid as well I can scan if anyone would like to see it.
