I was trying to copy an image of a sinclair sign that is going to be at an auction. I've never seen it before and don't know the size. It says "No smoking at pumps" and has the dinosaur like that mellowed 100 million years one. Its red black and white. Anybody familiar with this? My gut says fake but it looks kind of good. Anybody?

Like Seth and Butch said, it is a fake.

A little more info on this sign.
This sign is shown in the Sinclair Collectibles book on page 40. I talked to Jack and he told me there were two mistakes in this book. The book says this sign is real, it is not.
Also on page 154 the book shows a clock, the book says fantasy, I was told it is real.

I wanted to point out that even the best books may have errors in them.

Wes,
There is another error in the Sinclair book. The globe attachment shown on a Power-X over 100 globe on page 93 actually goes on the Power-X The Super Fuel globe. I took pictures of the original mounting instructions clearly showing the attachment on the Super Fuel globe.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.
