All I did was erase the [/img] and I was able to paste them to my browser and see the photos.

Your links had the [/img] at the end, but they didn't have the [img] at the beginning.

Be careful when you copy the code to make sure you get the whole thing. Right click inside the "Hotlink for forums 1" code box and select "Copy" from the pop-up menu. If you do the normal cursor drag to highlight and then copy, it is possible to miss essential characters at the beginning or end.
