I'm not sure about how old it is, but it is newer than the rectangle boxy lubesters we see most often. These haven't really caught on yet with collectors, but they will one day, I think.

The shape of this one would lend itself to being painted to match a Tokheim 39 like you have in your avatar picture. They'd look good together.

This is a grease pump, should have some thumb screws or jack bolts at the bottom, loosen and the top will come off exposing a 5 to 25 gallon? tub of grease. They were used in the service bays of garages, about 1960's.

Thanks, Phil

Your unit, referred to as a "Hand-Operated Gear Lube Dispenser," was made by the Gray Company of Minnepolis, MN. I have pictures of a very similiar one from 1952, but your unit looks a little newer. They even had a very similiar one that was used for draining the oil from crankcases.
Gray is or was in business from at least 1930.

The man has several others that are small and ribs on the side about 20 inches tall , triangle shaped with a handle like a hand pump for sale , Two had small angle iron frames with wheels.
