I have a chance to buy this sign. It is not on metal and he says it is on fiberglass or some other material. The wings have a reflective coating. Is it worth looking into? It's a bad scan Thanks in advance

Size, quality, and price? Fiberglass you said? With reflective letters? By that description, it sounds like a painted panel, with stick on letters. And by the looks of the slant in the letters, it slants less, as the word "CHEVRON" goes on. Probably more evidence that its a "local manufactured" sign. That doesnt mean that it didn't hang at a CHEVRON station though.

I'm good Rick, thanks.... Its not porcelan (sp?) so keep that in mind. I like it, but I dont think that I'd pay $200.00 for it. But I'm not a sign guy either. If its not too far I'd go take a look, just to see how I felt about it. Besides, something else might show up.
