That's surprising, thought they were tire holders but they did look very shiny.

Why would a gas pumps ad glass say Firestone? Weren't they always advertising the gasoline brand?

I saw an old pic on oldgas or ebay that showed the side ad glass of a texaco pump with the Firestprne ad glass.

texaco and firestone had stations together. firestone tire dealer who sold texaco gas. not sure why it says firestone rather than texaco but they did... ive seen old pictures

I believe Firestone sold gasoline under their own name, they even designed their own pump and have Wayne it just for them, the Model 72-R, shown on page 328 of my Gas Pump Identification book.
