I do not collect Gulf so I have no idea about this certificate. A friend of mine found it in a farm house he inherited from his relatives and I am not sure if this came this way or was laminated onto this plaque . Has old cars and old pumps in pictures so it does not look to be any kind of remake.

Many of the oil companies handed out these "thank you" plaques over the years, given to associates for X amount of years of doing business with X oil company.
My earlier Mobil ones are from what I estimate to be the mid/late 1940's from Socony-Vacuum, through the 1960's Mobil Corporation. I also have one from Marathon from the 1950's with the running man. I'm positive that the one pictured is in it's original presentation form, laminated to the plaque as shown. I would guess it dates from the 1950's being laminated on the board. All of mine are for at least 5 years of service, another is 10. Not to say that they did these in strictly 5 year increments (as I've seen odd year awards), but I would fathom to guess this one was awarded around 1954 for 25 years of business association. Again, just a guess on that but it fits....
