Cataula, Georgia...10 miles above Columbus, Georgia. The fellows that I have run into down here are a little more "private" or independent, some with fabulous collections. They do no advertise or socialize...just stay pretty much to themselves. Dave

Hey Dave. I've heard that a lot too. Thank God I've met a couple of guys who are willing to talk and share info, but yeah what I usually hear is about people with plenty of money just collecting and keeping to themselves. I've got some friends down in Columbus. Nice quiet area  .

Hello Eddy,
I moved out of Columbus in 1987 to Cataula to get away from the urban environment(being burglarized and vandalized at least once a month). I live in Cataula which is 15 minutes North on old US 27.
Anytime you(or your friends) are in the area...give me a call.
There are some great people on this website which have enabled me to complete some projects and I appreciate them all.

I'm up the road in the Greenville SC area.. was just down at Commerce for the auto swap meet at the dragway and I go down to Moultrie and Perry auto shows.

Sorry Digger, I had another event I was at. Gonna try to get back to Commerce maybe in Oct or Nov if nothing gets in my way.
BTW, any of you Georgia guys ever seen the early Georgia heavy state route signs shaped like the state? I picked up one yesterday for State Rt 77 (Hartwell area) up in Pickens SC.
