I bought a Standard oil gas sign and when I took it out of the packaging I was suprised at how bent and warped it was. The guy didnt mention it being bent at all, theres no creases and it hangs pretty flat on my wall, its from the 30s-40s theres some porcelen loss but displays pretty well considering the age....is this common?....sorry i coulnt post a pic. thank you.

One of my larger porcelains has about a 1/4" outward bow across the center all the way across. Have a Mobil pump plate with the same thing.
