I picked up a 30 inch Parco Ethyl Gasoline sign at the Peotone show. I have seen a 48 inch sign from this company before and the pictures of the two Parco globes on this site. Does anyone else have any pictures of Parco signs, oil cans or other stuff from this company? I know they were out of Parco WY, were bought out by Sinclair and the name of the town was then changed to Sinclair WY. I may be interested in buying different signs or globes from this company.

Parco was the name for the Producers and Refiners Corporation. I believe they were a consortium of, well, oil producers and refiners. A bunch of smaller companies rolled into one. There is a lot more info somewhere, perhaps in Wayne Henderson's logo book. I think I have an extra Hawkeye Oil and the 1932 map if you're interested. PM me if you are. The conquistodor map is from 1931, the other with the spotlights is from 1932.
