Phil, There are 2 good magazines that I highly recommend! Petroleum collectibles monthly and Check the Oil which I receive both magazines. The magazines are update news for the hobbyist plus the buy and sell section in the back. I also like "Value Guide to Gas Station Memorabilia" by B. J. Summers and Wayne Priddy. It has a little bit of everything in it from globes, pumps, signs, containers and misc. The 1 thing about that book is all the pictures are color and the pumps are very nice restorations. That is the one thing I wish Jack would have done in his book was put nice restored pumps next to the brochure pictures but still the book Jack wrote is also a nice book to get. I have bought a lot of the books out there and you will love them all.
Petroleum collectibles monthly (440)355-6608 Check the Oil (800) 228-6624 The books i got from Amazon.com
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Purchasing your books through Amazon on this site helps Jim keep this site up and running and that helps all of us.
