Hi, I know this isnt really the right place for this but I hope maybe someone that was out pickin has seen one of the old upright bathroom urinals that used to be in old bars and service stations. You remember the ones that go all the way from the floor up about 3 1/2 feet. they were sometimes tiny tiles and usually porcelain and colored. I know where a few are still in use but cant find one for sale. Im redoing my spare bathroom in a rather different way....kind of like a large outhouse and need one. Any help out there? ive checked a lot of antique reclaimers online with no luck........Thanx a lot! Les

Les, I doubt if you'll find a used one. The ones I've seen all had concrete poured around them. I don't think you could get one out with breaking it. Best bet is to check with a plumbing contractor (distributors won't sell to you). Ask them to check in their Kohler, Mansfield and American Standard catalogs. Bob

Good Morning Les, I don't have a Urinal but I have a wall sink (heavy porcelain) dated 1928, with a drinking fosset on the cold water side, It was taken from an old seaside service station, one of the oldest in the valley , it even had the word Seaside painted on the front of it but most was wore off , also there was an old soap dispenser but that will never be for sell or trade, for it has, Seaside and the old bird etched into it, but good luck on your search.

Les.... Did you ever find one. Went to the back to school barbeque last night and they had remodeled the grade school bathroom.... much to my dismay they had replaced the stand up urinals..... if you want me to I can get ahold of the contractor and see if he might still have them.... there were 4, so maybe one might have survived. bob

I would go to all your local plumming shops and tell them what you are looking for. They scrap all the old stuff when they do a job. It would be just one less thing they got to throw away. Don't you hate it when there is something you want and everybody junks it.
