I recently acquired a capco globe body that I strongly suspect is a reproduction.
This globe body is flimsy and flexible, very white in color, and has only one puny tab on each half for the lens notches.
A Capco that I know is original has two nice beefy tabs on each side (so both lens notches get a tab). It's also stiffer and more milky colored.
I'm under the impression that no originals had just one lens notch tab.
Is this the case? Is this one definitely a repro?
Thanks, Wes
