In the 1940-50’s how were Cities Service pumps labeled to distinguish between Ethyl and Regular grades? Was Koolmotor a grade? What was “Super 5-D” and “MileMaster”? I have spent two days trying to focus in on tiny, grainy, Internet photos of old Cities Service stations and I still can’t determine what they named their two grades of gasoline. I know this may be a dumb question but I'd really hate it if I painted "Regular" and "Premium" on the two pumps I'm restoring when that might be totally incorrect.
