Here is a Craigs List Link for 61 Standard Oil Signs in Estate Auction June 28th I just wish I could be there. There are 25 each 5 foot long by 16 inches wide and 36 each 9 foot long by 12 inches wide. The wordage on the 5 foot signs is mostly “Standard Oil Company” and a few “Standard Oil Company (Indiana)”. The 5 foot long signs are Iso=Vis motor oil advertising with about 13 words on each sign. Procedures for bidding at the auction and more information may be obtained at 828-713-9375. It's amazing to me how people will find other uses for items beyond their original itended uses. That's as wild as the chicken coop from a few weeks ago.

I just received an email from the estate owners and the signs are 10 footers. None have been cut off but they have nail holes in them. I will post some pictures when they send them. Wayne

Friends of mine went tot he auction. Signs were $160 to $200 range. the Standard Oil PRoducts were in the $300 range. Not sur eonthe others. Tey went to a different auction in Huron the day before and bought a Standard Oil sign like the ones pictures, one small ding inthe sign for $190. Said the one they bought was better than the others at the large auction.
