I am working on my first restoration of a 766 that was a Power X Sinclair pump. First question is how do I figure out when it was made? 2nd question is what is the small hole in the upper side panel for? Thanks
Ed

Find the serial # & someone that will look in the Blue Book.
Pump was mfg from 1948 to 1954.
Post a picture so we can see where the hole is located on side skin, might be something the mfg did or someone else.

Email me the complete serial number and I will tell you what year (and maybe what month) it was made.

Without seeing a photo I'm gonna guess and say light switch hole (approx 5/16) wide. But a picture would really help.
