I ran across some sort of a enclosed oil can rack. Sides are tapered with roll up doors. It was buried in a pile so I could not get good pictures. I would like to see a picture of a restored one if possible. Thanks, Jim

Sounds like it's Sel-Oil "Roll~A~Door" unit, made in the 1960's by Modern Metals Products.
They came in 3 possible heights..44" or 48" or 52".
Does it still have the original side key & lock?
Does it have both plastic embossed SEL-OIL catch pans inside?

Here's one that sold recently..

Here's a bunch that were for sale on here too.

Oil can cabinets were made by a number of companies, but the most cabinets were made buy the Bennett Pump Co., and Modern Metals. To see the Bennett cabinets look on page 69 of my Gas Pump Identification book, for the Modern Metals cabinets see pages 211 and 212.

I have literature on the Bennett cabinets running on Ebay, but the ones on Seloil must of run out, will post them again.

In the meantime, check out this page of my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/modern%20metals.htm
