I spent last weekend at my place and did a little work on finishing up on some computers for Kris Strong. I hope to have them out by Monday. I have to get my son Cody to do all the lifting. Saw the surgeon Wed. He gave me the go ahead to lift 25 lbs. I haven't had a smoke in 5 weeks now and oxygen levels are up to 98!!!!
When I had the heart attack I was driving, lucky someone was with me. I don't remember, but he said I told him to grab the wheel and I slumped backwards. I am so glad I did not hurt or kill anyone else on the road. I do not remember the next 4 days then I woke up in another hospital.
I am still sore in the chest & legs but have been off the pain meds for 4 days now. I have been walking 1/4 mile in the mornings and 1/4 mile in the evenings trying to get better. The worst part is the diet change. No fat, no salt. I WANT A PIZZA!!!!!!!!!!! I don't have sugar or blood pressure problems which is a big plus. I hope to be working on computers ASAP. All this healing time is driving me nuts. Thanks Guys Joe

I hadn't heard about your heart attack Joe, glad to hear things are getting better. My computer must have been one of the last ones you did before your problem. My father in law had a quadruple bypass about 10 years ago, going strong at 81, still logging in the winter and working his gravel pit in the summer!! Good luck, keep us posted and do what the Doc says.

In all seriousness you sounded great. Maybe all that rest in the hospital helped.

Glad to see you are on the road back. You have to close your eyes when the pizza commercials come on. Good luck!

Way to go Joe. Close calls are also second chances. I hope you continue to do well and enjoy "LIFE". Let us know when you can accept new jobs. I have a couple to send you. God Bless you. Sincerely, Mike

Thanks for keeping us posted and glad your recovery is ontrack.
If the pizza ban is permanent, your doctor might be able to refer you to a nutritionist who can give you a pizza receipe that would be a substitute for you. Yeah it won't have as much cheese and no peperoni or sausage, but it might be something you can eat and enjoy.
Just a thought...

Well this isn't the second chance. I had my appendix rupture and set up infection at 12 and got hit by a car doing 60 on my motocycle at 17. At 13 a Chow attacked me, I covered my neck with my arm, and it got the worst. If he had got my neck I would have been a gonner. Thanks Y'all
