Hello All- I got an old Bowser 565 pump I am restoring. The front and back ad glass is Phillips 66- but the side ad glass has "Fiore" written on it. Just checking if anyone had any insight on the story of Fiore. Thanks

Ooh, I do, I do!
My father worked for a Fiore's Phillips 66 station(s) sometime between 1940 and 1945 while attending UW-Madison. They also marketed a brand called Fiore 100, with a pump plate that looked a little like the Lucky Strike packages of the area. There were at least two stations I'm aware of. One was between campus and the Capitol, and another was at 2549 University Avenue.
Looking East...
for a photo from the State Historical Society.

I'm pretty certain they no longer operated as such by the 1960s, as we used to have nostalgia tours to accompany the annual football trip.
