Leave the pump and other guts out not important to the unit anymore. I have a LRP. There's three brackets to mount the unit to depending on how your looking at it there's two on the right and one on the left in the back or front depends on where your looking at it from.

If you will send me an email (in my profile) I will email you a file of pics of a 39 being disassembled with most shots that you will need to figure out where stuff goes. If you run in to a specific problem you can ask again on here and someone should be able to help....Gary

First there were four different Tokheim 39, you need to determine which one you have, then go to this page of my website: http://petrolianacollectibles.com/tokheim%20pumps.htm

Click on the 39 you have (read the top of the page, it is very informative), the parts manuals show a complete breakdown of the 39.

Post a picture of your parts. Several different styles were used.

The sight glass manifold attaches to the top brace and not the VR. Post pictures of your parts as on some 39's the sight glass manifold attaches directly to the top brace and on some brackets are utilized.

The sight glass manifold is the complete assembly that the spinners, sight glass and retaining ring attach to. As seen in this photograph, above the VR.
