After painfully restoring my eco 97 I was wanting to mount it on a piece of plywood and then mount it to the wall. Would this be strong enough to hold it? Any other ideas? Thanks

1/2" or better plywood will work. I would try to line up one of the mounting screws with a wall stud.

These are special base adapters , that can be used for stud mounting.

While this adapter could be used to mount an ECO to a stud, its initial used was to attach an ECO to a pole.

I have them if you are looking for one.

Never ceases to amaze me what I Learn on here each day. That pole bracket would have come in handy when I mounted mine.....I took a piece of plywood off in the shop to put a brace between two studs. Shucks!!

They sure are heavy so I would bolt it to the plywood if you go that route and not use lag bolts.

We have always allowed an offer to sell by a responding member if it is in direct reply to a request by the original post.

In other words, if the member in the original post asks for a part or a "how to do this?" question, offering the item he asks for is allowed in General Discussion and the Want to Buy forums.

The original post can not be an offer to sell and reply posts can not be an offer to sell that is not directly requested.

For many years, Jack Sim has been allowed to offer his books for sale in the above mentioned forums if it was considered a solution to the original poster's question.

Here is the rule from the Membership Agreement:
"Post items that are for sale or trade only in the For Sale or Trade forum category, or the Online Auction category. For sale items may be deleted from other forum categories unless they are in reply to a legitimate request for that item."

Sometimes my parts are free.

In 24 years of posting answers in this post, I have never once listed anything here with a price. Usually I refer people to my website. If the query is a about gas pump, I tell them there are pictures on a certain page of my website. If they are asking what is the original nozzle that was on my pump, I again refer them to that section of my site. Also, when it comes to ECO parts I might tell them I have some, but list no prices, just go to a page of my website. Even the post above just states that I have some, and my website is not listed.

Geeeez, I had some people that contacted me confused about the description etc. Pole mount, wall mount, floor pole mount.... I'm SORRY.

My first post was just to direct the member to a previous post so he could see the wall plate and other mounts, since it sounded like he was not sure what he needed. Then someone else bought the pole mount plate. Sorry I posted the SOLD post.
I will try to do a better job of following the rules in the future.

I hope no one else on here has to deal with diminished memory caused by two strokes and surgery. It's not fun trying to remember things and have notes EVERYWHERE. Many of the people who have dealt with me have heard many times, "please remind me."

So Jim and Jack, help me out here, if I make a mistake in the future please contact me directly, my phone number and email address is always in my profile. I will not be offended or insulted and will be happy to address ASAP what ever I have done wrong.
Thank you for a great site!
