Cant tell what this was for. Was it for a salesman or lab sample? Anyone seen one before. Super neat and I pretty large. About as tall as an imperial quart can Thanks Dan

Thanks Bob Odd. It is in musical instruments in that patent. I found slushing oils used to clean firearms when I googled it. Maybe it was for keeping the tuning keys from rusting etc. I have no clue. Never heard or seen a Sova-Kote can or bottle.
Any one else seen it before.

I have a Sova-Kote 503 can from around 1950 - always thought it was some fluid for "anti-rust" in hard to reach areas of a car? Also a "Mobil-kote" from early 60s. //Claes
