Hi, I found a Neptune 855 pump on Craigslist. My question is: Is this pump rare? I see very few parts for this anyplace on line. Thanks for your responses. Tom

Hi I would like to meet up with other petro collectors here in the Raleigh area. Thanks Tom

Its a fairly common but good looking pump. There are a couple of members on this forum that have extensive inventories of original salvage parts, and several members that deal in reproduction parts.

As far as clubs, there may be something local in your area, but nothing nationally except for the informal gathering that we have here on a daily basis! Old Gas is full of gas pump collectors like myself, that often have a variety of pump parts offered for sale.
Old Gas, also has a wanted to buy section where parts and pieces are traded on a daily basis. Post your needs in that section and often times, another member will be able to help you.
Be warned, if this is your first pump, there is no such thing as owning ONE pump. They multiply like rabbits for some strange reason and there is no known cure for wanting to own more and more and more!!! LOL

HaHA, I understand the "multiply like rabbits" This will be my 5th pump and I can't wait to pick up this new addition to our family! Thanks for the club info. Tom

I had two of them for sale at the Zebulon NC. show this past Friday and Saturday. Just up the road from you. There were at least a dozen pumps at the show.

I talked with Tom Buckles about a sight glass and he indicated he had several.
