I bought a DSP Purol sign a few years back that had been clear coated. I cannot see any major dents or rust spots so I was going to remove the clear coat. I brought home a blacklight that we use to trace A/C leaks in vehicles and nothing stands out when I looked the sign over.

Has anyone ever had any luck checking a sign for repairs using a blacklight?

Thanks
Mike
