I have had this for some time, as it came with a bunch of pump plates I bought some time back. I have it entered in a sale this weekend and I want to represent it properly. Its porcelain and measures 13.5 inches tip to tip, and 9 inches vertically. I just need to know if its real or just another piece of junk!

Kevin,
One of the things I noticed is that all of the gromets are in the wrong locations when I compaire it to my original. The back is also a different color, and mine measures 13 1/2 x 8 3/4. I just noticed that yours doesn't have the hash marks on the wings next ot the A either.

Does anyone have an "Original" or "Restored" photo of a pump with this plate that could share?

there are also repros of this with white backs, i believe.
its one of 3 versions of flying a truck door signs. also a similar, but embossed, door sign. and a rectangle door sign.
