I have seen mention of Texaco leaded glass globes, but cannot find a picture of one to see what they looked like.
I know these are very rare, but am hoping somebody has one or at least a picture of one they could post.
I'm in the process of restoring a Wayne 100 and am kicking around the idea of doing one side in a Mobile Special motif and the other in Texaco. The "Value Guide to Gas Station Memorabilia" mentions the existence of a Texaco leaded glass globe. My wife does stained glass so when I saw mention of the globe, I figured it might be cool to have her repro one. I just need to see one first, though before I decide whether that's the way I want to go with it or not.
Any help, pictures, links, etc... would be greatly appreciated. I've done some searching, but am coming up empty handed.
