Have you ever wondered how they repaired the computers at the stations when the stopped working, well thke a look at this.

Anyone ever taken a computer apart to replace the numbers? NOT FUN!

Taking the thing apart is EASY, Replacing the wheels will get ya in TROUBLE [1st time] !
The more ya do, the EASIER it gets. LOL

I'll never forget a trip I took up to Connecticut to visit Veeder-Root. While there I asked, "How do you take these apart and put them back together."
Well they got a nice looking woman who worked on the computer to show me. She proceded to push a wood dowl through the wheels, remove them, then set the side of the computer so it would not move, this required a special tool, then she replaced the wheels, again using the wood dowl. After locking everything in place, she said, now I will rechrank the computer, and all the wheels will come up 000. She cranked the computer and they came up 274. I said that's alright, I never did want to really know how to repair the computers. Actually, I never did.
