Why would somebody steal the items that he did? There were a lot better signs and globes at that auction then what was stolen.
I think the thief was an idiot!

Just remember guys, innocent until proven guilty. We all can guess what happened but as members of an awesome website we should reserve judgement until all the facts come out.

Good point Ohio oil, i have come close myself of buying a item or two and almost forget to pay. I haven't though! LOL Could be he just forgot... maybe Bob Drake can call or e-mail Dan or Kurt since he knows them so well and see if they have heard from the guy. Mistakes can happen.
Looking for anything from Hoosier Pete, Platolene 500 and Red Bird.

Like Ohio said innocent untill proven guilty. But I dont think people here are trying to hang this guy they just want to know who he is & get the money for the things he bought. It is fishy that he gave false info to the auction though. But lets not all get to excited & jump to conclusions about this being a hanging party we just want info to get in touch with this guy so it can be made right
Wanted Owens Motor Oil & Mobiloil Gargoyle. Brad Ralston & my website is www.petrobarn.com

I'm not a lawyer.....but I suspect if you leave the site of an auction with the "goods" in your possession without paying the auctioneer.....that probably qualifies as "theft". A "senior moment" may have been the reason for the non-payment, but it's still theft until the auctioneer gets paid and decides not to press charges. Hopefully that's the situation here.

Be careful here. If you are wrongfully accusing this man you may be opening yourself up to a lawsuit. Many times witnesses don't 'see' what actually occurred. Their views are often wrong. Watch your step......Perhaps somebody has a personal vendetta against this guy, like maybe he out-bid you on an item YOU wanted to buy.......Just be careful....
