This is a good condition, Barkhausen Oil Company 3-pound Imperial grease can. Barkhausen was headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. This very clean grease pail dates to the early 1920s. It is a nice, displayable size, measuring 5-1/4" in diameter by 4-1/2" high. The can reads: Barkhausen Oil Company. Imperial Oils and Greases.
This approximately 90-year-old Barkhausen grease can is imprinted in three colors. There is no obvious fading. This pail has the bail handle intact. There are just a few small dents here and there. The bottom is very clean, as is the interior of the can.
