nochevys 1940s map has 3 variations. The "prewar" map he posted, An "Oil is Ammunition" distributed during WWII. And after the war they put a V.E.P sticker over them, presumably to use already printed maps, post-war.
1986 & 1978 MARATHON MAPS OF FINDLAY. I BELIEVE THESE WERE COMPANY HANDOUTS TO VISITORS BECAUSE OF THE DETAIL OF VARIOUS COMPANY BUILDINGS, OFFICES, PARKING LOTS, ETC.
FOR MANY YEARS MARATHON USED DIFFERENT COVERS FOR MAPS OF STATES IN AND OUT OF THERE MARKETING AREAS. SOMESTIMES THE DIFFERENCES WERE SMALL SUCH AS MORE COLORS, ETC. THE 1950-51-52 HAD NUMBEROUS DIFFERENCES.THE OUT OF MARKETING AREA TOP MAP IS A TRI-FOLD WITH A MUCH MORE GRAPHIC PICTURE, WHILE THE IN IS A BI-FOLD.
