First, here's a great Platolene sign that I got from Tara for Christmas!

And these 5-quarts were my Christmas present to Tara

Over the Christmas holiday, we were up in Wisconsin antiquing, and ran across this really neat Goodyear sign. I just had to have it, and that was the end to my Christmas money!

And yes, believe it or not, it did fit in Tara's Grand Am (The one behind me)!

I scored this great Diamond map of Terre Haute (where I went to school) on eBay. It has some great service station photos inside, too!

And these two lighters were also eBay finds - pretty sweet, and both are NOS...

Thanks! The sign is in pretty good shape, with nice gloss and color, but does have a few chips. There are 7 colors of porcelain on it! I know it's pretty old, from what I've been told probably late 20s to early 30s.

Doc, I sure like your Gulf sign! You don't find them in that kind of shape very often.

THANKS GUYS! I FORGOT TO MENTION THAT IT WAS A FLANGE GULF SIGN. I'M SURE YOU COULD FIGURE THAT OUT.
THERE WAS ALSO A ?ABLE FRAM PAM ELEC CLOCK THERE AS WELL. IT LOOKED GREAT FROM THE FRONT BUT WAS CERTAINLY A MESS FROM THE BACK SIDE AND NOT A LIGHT-UP. I BAILED OUT AT $50 ON IT. I TALKED MYSELF OUT OF ANOTHER ?ABLE CLOCK. LOL!

GREAT BUYS GUYS...KEEP THEM COMING! IT'S WHAT THIS WEBSITE IS ALL ABOUT...SHARING!

Went to town to send out a few things to fellow oldgassers and this followed me home...not really my thing...but who can say no to a sign in its original crate at a good price.

I offer quart can re-lidding, can rolling, lid stamping, and dent removal.

I got this a few weeks back - off of e-bay.

According to Scott Anderson, it's the only lens known to exist. You may have seen the e-Bay photo in this months PCM.

It's not in the best shape - but I think it's kewl none-the-less.

Later . . .

Finally got my Wayne 40, thanks to a good friend of mine! I also picked up a nice Esso pole this week for my sign.
