I was able to pick up a couple goodies this week. One is a fairly rare North dakota brand gas globe.Simonson has only ever had a few stations and is still operating. Also got this Farmers Union painted tin sign from the same guy.

Still looking for that Union 76 ball
And I collect big old porcelain neon signs

Bought this Tokheim 36 from Vic's Friday night auction. Has a repro top.

Missed out on 6 of these that sold on eBay last year. Had to step up and get this one at Vic's on Saturday.

I got this great D-X globe from a fellow oldgasser:

Also, this assortment of random stuff found its way to our house this week from ebay... A DX map of Indianapolis, a Mid-Continent Petroleum 10-year service pin, and Tara bought a Pierce-Pennant thimble.

Tara also found me the DX Sweney Oil lighter at a shop in Peoria, the home of Sweney.

I got this sign for Tara on Saturday at Seth's auction.

59, I'VE GOT SIGNS STACKED UP ALL OVER MY GARAGE, BASEMENT AND YARD! LOL!

THIS NEW (TO MY COLLECTION) VEEDOL GOT 2 GOOD SCRUBBINGS AND NOW LOOKS LIKE THIS WET...

SINCE I'M CHANGING AROUND A WALL IN MY SHOP, I'LL HANG IT ABOVE SOME SHELVES NEAR THE CEILING. I WILL MORE THAN LIKELY COAT IT LIBERALLY WITH A SPAR VARNISH TO MAKE IT SOMEWHAT HANDSOME!
