Got this from another collector today and very glad to now have them in the collection. Also, on my last purchase of Texaco goodies I ended up with one of the 1990's reproduction Marine Lubricants signs. Spoke with the seller and he refunded me enough so that I was happy with the 2 smaller signs and the repro, so it will stay in the collection and off the market. I may hang it next to the original Marine Lubricants sign so that it can be next to the real deal Thanks for everyones help on explaining the reason it was a repro!

...looks like the lineup from Dixie Gas...nice stuff!
...you might think of Dremelling 'REPRO' in the back side of the fake Marine Lubricants, for posterity...
Looking for better Gulf items: signs, globes, cans and paper - especially porcelain Gulf flanges, and Gulf A-38 & A-62 ad glass...

Good call. It is now extremely obvious now that I look at it though. Black T (D'OH), no names on either boat and mast of sailboat touches I and is not in the center of the I

Trust me it was for the best. I wanted them, so I saved myself a lot of money as my max bids were nothing pretty

I'm glad that they stayed together as a set. I'll just have to wait for my turn.

I seen that one as well. My shop's not heated (not yet anyways) and I'm hesitant buying painted tin signs and cardboard/paper items. Gets very humid in the winter on the Westcoast here.
