Here's a before and after of a sign that was dug out of the ground. It had some other signs and junk on top to protect it. Looks pretty good after all those years in the "just throw it over there pile".

It always amazes me how well these old porcelain signs survive under the dirt! Nice find!

Have a few more pictures of the signs that were on top. I think the finish is nicer on these other than the bucket marks on the Gulf dealer. The poles had alot of rot and some at the base of the 42" ring.
