I just wanted to show everyone a cabinet a friend of mine built for me. I helped some but he is the woodworker and knows what he is doing, ha. He sent me the idea over the summer and we worked on it off and on since then. Another friend wired it for me. I got it home about 2-3 weeks ago. It is made of pine. The color is blue/white with clear coat and a black base. Has an LED bulb inside the globe and two LED light bars in the cabinet. Has three shelves. The back also has a face plate but minus an ad glass and pump plate. I know the globe and pump plate are different period specific but I think it turned out pretty good. Has a repo contains lead sign under the hose outlet. The globe, pump plate and nozzle are original. All the new parts except the hose I got from Vic's 66 and Gas Pump Heaven. Big thanks to: Phil for helping get the v-trim powder coated, hose, nozzle and all the info you helped me, Darin for helping fill the shelves and info, T-way for the ad glass and Paul for helping find the crank trim. Thanks!

Thanks for the kind words. The reason I used the pump plate is because I already had it and like the look of it better. It's funny, I collect mostly Gulf and Mobil stuff but had the globe and pump plate so that's why I chose Mobil. Maybe sometime we may do a showcase pump out of wood with Gulf. Thanks!

Brian
