First off I want to thank everyone that contributed to GOTM last month. These features wouldn't be possible without you!

This month we're going to salute our nation's farmers by featuring globes from Farmers Unions and Co-op associations. There are over twenty different unions or co-ops.

I'll start off with a couple of globes from Growmark Industries. You might recognize them by their Illinois Farm Supply name.



The Illinois Farm Supply globe was used through most of the 1950's. The FS globe from the late 50's through 1970.

This globe is from a co-op in Nebraska. It dates from 1958-70.

Midwest's globes are from Farmland Industries of Kansas City,MO. They date from the 1940's and 1930's respectively.
