A different format this month to "test the waters" thanks to some open-mindedness and a nifty suggestion from fellow oldgasser Tim Rohr. Each monthly POTM will not be based on this concept but I feel this will be a neat change from the norm. I figure that two or three times a year we'll mix this idea into POTM to keep you oldgassers off guard and on your toes.

The June POTM is not exclusively a Tokheim, nor a Wayne nor a G&B, nor anything else., it's anything branded Sinclair. No matter if it's old, restored, or new old stock, it doesn't matter. Whether it's a visible, a tall computer or a short, makes no difference! Any Sinclair is Pump Of The Month.

Oldgassers, send your pictures, your stories, your restoration tips, your paint codes for anything Sinclair.

The reason I chose Sinclair was two fold;
1- I remember Sinclair from when I was a kid back in the 60's
2- The Sinclair logo is really neat and sticks in your head
3- The current COTM is Sinclair and knowing the history and trivia involved makes it even more interesting. By the way, if you haven't took a few minutes to peruse COTM you don't know what you're missing!!

Please post any items, thoughts or war stories you have on Sinclair. Feel free to e-mail me if I can post any pictures for you. I have several Sinclair unrestored pumps but I will wait a few days and post them when things start slowing down.

THANKS and "let the Sinclair games start"!!

Neal

Blastmaster, PLEASE send me your pictures and I will gladly post them!!

Below is a picture from fellow oldgasser Rick Herscowitz in Sacramento CA. The gas pump appears to be a Bennett model 646 (correct me if I'm wrong, I don't have one of these). I tell you guys, it doesn't get any nicer than this!! By the way, if anyone has an unrestored 646 for sale PLEASE LET ME KNOW!! I've been looking for one but with no luck. Help me, I'M IN LOVE!!!! Also, This lubester is as nice as any I have ever seen!

Rick, if you get a chance please tell us a little about these two items. Absolutely beautiful work!

Thanks and keep the pictures coming!
