WELL, IT'S THE MOMENT ALL YOU HAPPY BUYERS OF PETROLIANA HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!

THIS OFFICIALLY STARTS THIS WEEK'S BOTW THREAD. LET'S SEE WHAT GOODIES YOU'VE BOUGHT IN THE LAST WEEK! TIME TO SHARE WITH THE REST OF US YOUR LATEST ADDITIONS IN YOUR COLLECTION.

I'LL START BY SHOWING WHAT I THOUGHT WAS QUITE A VALUE I GOT EARLY YESTERDAY MORNING AT A TAG SALE. I PICKED THRU THE ENTIRE CELLAR OF THE GUYS HOUSE AND LEFT WITH A WOODEN CRATE, A SHOE BOX AND A BAG FULL OF THESE CANS, MAPS, AND ASSORTED AUTO RELATED TREASURES:

EVERY O/B QT CAN HAD CRISPY CRUSTY MASKING TAPE CIRCLING EACH ONE WITH SOME MARKER DESCRIBING WHAT "OTHER" PRODUCT WAS INSIDE. THE OILZUM CAN ALONE WAS WORTH MORE THAN DOUBLE WHAT I PAID FOR THE ENTIRE SCH-BANG, SO I WALKED AWAY QUITE HAPPY.

ONE ITEM OF INTEREST WAS THIS U.S. ARMY ISSUE PENETRATING PINT CAN. IN ARMY GREEN
WITH ALL SORTS OF REF #'S ON THE CAN COMPLETE WITH THE POUR SPOUT TYPE CAP:

SO, LET'S SEE WHAT "YOU" GOT!!!?

I picked up a few things at an estate auction yesterday.
I believe these 7-Up signs are from 1966.

The pictures don't do this porcelain thermometer justice. The gloss is outstanding.

Close up of the logo.

Wanted: Gas pump globes:Sinclair & affiliates, IL companies. Ripple bodies. Anything Sinclair, Stoll, Pierce, 4 Bros.

The little corner store next to the tattoo shop went out of business. I asked him about his neon signs..I thought he said I could have them but he is Korean and I didnt understand him right but he felt bad about the miscommunication when the look on my face went from happy to bummed so he gave me this rolling rock neon for free. I was happy because I like rolling rock and free neon is cool....well sort of free... I did spend alot of money in his store over the past 15 years...LOL He also gave me a case of zig zag rolling papers that i have no need for ..made me take them..HA If anyone needs rolling papers...LOL

You can't beat a day that you find a great deal on a pump. Bought an Erie 748-10 today, needs a face plate, site glass, and glass, but otherwise in pretty good shape. Still don't have a digital camera, but getting one soon for my daughter as a gift ( can't beat getting a loved one a gift that you want for yourself! ). Planning on doing this one up in Sinclair.
