Here are my buys from Iowa gas.

A cool porcelian Sheetrock sign & a Wayne 278 from Mick.

Here is a cool globe I could not walk away from. A very neet Power King globe. Then a cool Bowser clockface off a delivery truck.

Also got a Coke rack sign for the wife. Heck it was the first thing I bought. Will post pic in Non Petro

The first photo is of the cans that followed me home from Iowa Gas, the second the ones that I've picked up over the course of the summer.

I found the following CS Koolmotor globes at Iowa Gas. The first is a wide body "Hull" with 2 lenses (CS did place this lens on a "Hull" clover body, This is the first wide body "Hull" I've ever seen), the middle is a NOS single lens on 15"(my understanding is one other complete globe is known to exist seen at auction), and the last is single lens clover body (small chip on the backside next to mounting hole).

Koolmotor George

Bought this elusive silver topper on ebay. I had seen one several years ago before I started collecting them. This is the companion to the gold one. They were reportedly given to Socony executives either as rewards for sales or years of service, or to denote parking privlidges. If anybody has anything in print to verify their origin I would like to include it in the next printing of the booklet.

POSTING THESE FOR A NEW MEMBER....

---------------------------------------------

"Hi Doc, I'm a new member and never posted photos. Would you post these for me? Thanks TC
I was up north working so I could make Iowa. I phoned an old gentleman I've been working and scored these items. 15" gasoline globe with a rare cast iron square base
British American one piece etched globe
13 1/2" wide body
10 gallon cylinder for a double service station pump
cities service sign off a oil rack
premier more miles per gallon sign which I have a matching globe
He's got more stuff and I'm going to call him on the weekend. Thanks TC"
