The one of the right is new. The gloss is unreal and its a new version that I had not seen before.

These all made it home this weekend too.

Yeah, its the real deal, I had 3 repro's, couldn't stand the idea of having them so I sold them. I have been very fortunate finding pumps throught the years, but I have discovered the secret, offer more than the last guy, and back it up with cash. Here is a photo of it in a pump graveyard in Yuma AZ when it was found in 1998.

Keith, I bought this one hoping I could trade it for an Erie 50 if you happen to have one you would part with?

Hey Tara,

I'm in the middle of a car project right now... I should finish with the car in the Spring. I'll then be able to concentrate on the plans to build a FULL SCALE 1950's/1960's Sinclair Gas Station INSIDE my 50' x 60' shop at my house. The entire area will be heated and cooled... It will have 2 service bays with a car lift, a Retail Sales area, and an Owner's office... It will be built in the "Ice Box" style exterior.

I presently have 50 Sinclair Posters, 15 Cardboard Signs, and 10 Sinclair Banners. The entire structure will have 12' tall walls. I plan on wrapping the top half of the Service Bay wall areas (between 6' and 12' high) with posters, carboard signs, and banners. I'll also have a "synthetic" wood fence surrounding the station inside the shop and I'll hang as many banners as possible on these fences as well...

I have most of the traditional metal/porcelain signage that would be at a station but I just need to find a reasonable price on an original "Dino" to complete the display... I'll keep looking... I was in Kansas City in 2006 and tried to talk an owner of a shut down Sinclair station to sell me his Dino but he wouldn't let it go...

Yesterday, I was contacted by the man that sold me the old American Tank and Pump Co. Lubester with the glass cylinders last winter.
Back in the day, he had actually purchased the old Cities Service station, here in Devils Lake and moved it to his property to use as a shop! In some later years, while he was inspecting the attic area, he found these oil can racks and this cool old roadside sign! He kept the things up in the rafters until yesterday when he called and said he was ready to sell!
I have been looking for some oil can display racks for a long time but always passed them up because they were never quite what I was looking for. Well, this sure solves that problem as all three racks and the sign are NOS and were in the rafters since new, until yesterday!
I love finding new stuff, but it really makes it special when its from your hometown and is actually part of the history of your area! This is the kind of thing to keep and preserve for the next generation! I only hope they understand and appreciate it! ENJOY! grin--KEVIN
