I got this a while ago and posted it here, but I thought it cleaned up so nice I wanted to show it again. Even after a through cleaning with wood soap and water you can still smell the oil and cigarette odor, it's cool! Must have spent many, many years in serice. Have to figure out what to put in it now..

I have been looking at the display case and trying to figure out it's function, if it does have a solid back? I worked in an old station that had glass and wood display cases. Ours had glass fronts and open backs. If I remember correctly they did at one time have wood framed glass doors, but the owner removed them to give us more behind the counter working room. The items could be seen through the glass front, but to get the item one had to be behind the counter. The "Five Finger Discount" has been around a long, long, long.... time. LOL

With a little more work, it could be a very nice display case.
