I found these two signs tonight only a couple miles from home! The lady
I got them from saved them from her Grandpa's barn where he put them after his station closed. I have also attached a picture from where I am almost 75% sure they came from! Also got the new pieces from Ron Scobie on my pumps(top on wichita and access door on orange pump). Enjoy OldGas!!

Or within 1 mile of another collector, I bought a Tokheim 34 just up the road from GaspumpRob. From one of his neighbors & Rob never knew about it!

Was working on a building and had a neighbor ask me if I would let his contractors park on the parking lot. This was 20 ft away from his garage, or should I say across the alley. He said that I could have all the old gas cans in his garage for doing so. I of course asked to see his items. THE WHOLE GARAGE WAS FILLED WITH MOBIL CANS OF ALL SORTS, MOST UNOPENED. Over 75 cans, of course my answer was positive, 20 ft away for 10 years and I did not know.

Great story! Do you know by chance what that salesman display is sitting in the rear of that truck in front of the visibles? The writing appears to say NEW TRUCK on the top of the board. Maybe grease guns etc?

Craig thats so cool! I wish he would've got the Ford sign and the visibles! But life goes on... Greasyboy1970 I have looked at this picture very closely and I think it does say New Truck, its hard to tell, but it held a bunch of tools and miscellaneous stuff. That FORD building is still standing today but I wish I knew what happened to all that stuff... I have an Ellis County Historical book which is the county in Kansas where I live. It is a pictorial book. I love it!

Cool! Hope you find more stuff...maybe try and sweet talk your way upstairs in the attic of that building! Sign might be up there covered in insulation.Next best thing to finding old pumps and signs would be finding a bunch of NOS Ford parts.Best of luck
