I picked up this sign today and was curious as to how it was originally used. It's porcelain. No mounting holes. Single sided. Was it cut from a larger sign? Does it fit into another sign or display? Any help is appreciated.

if its porcelain you'd be able too tell if it was cut,
sign appears too have been cut ... cool
