Making 4 cents a gallon out of a 20 cent sales price isn't bad margin. Isn't it funny that stations nowadays still make 4 cents or less on gas selling for $1.50-$4.00 a gallon. Well, not real funny if you're the dealer trying to make money selling gas....GB

I was able to talk to the gentleman on the right a few years ago and he told me that to lease this particular station from Union Oil was costing him $15.00 a month.
The picture was taken around 1937.
