I would like to hear from other before the jury is let go. I am not sold that either sign is not right, but I am just working with the photos the seller has posted in his ebay auctions. Randy, I agree the seller's Firestone is not the same as yours, but I think we are talking about two signs that are not same.

I agree that both signs are fake, look at the edge of the FS from the top, looks far too thick for a painted sign from that era. With the way this stuff is selling there's going to be some really big and really worthless collections out there.

something does not look right, The one's in the book look like Randy's , Porcelain not enamel painted.

In regards to the Firestone sign it is not real IMO, lots of these tin signs out there being "aged".

Both are fakes. Check out sellers other listings...lots of POS for sale.
