Other than the section that is cut off, the sign looks to be in very good shape. The rust stains should clean off. I would go $200 on it any day. (But not the $1000 it is at now)

I think this is a pretty scarce sign...I've never seen this size offered before. Probably most "lookers" at the listing didn't even see how large it is, just figured it was a curb sign of the same design.
While I understand that it is missing a small part of the sign, this could be an instance where rarity trumps condition in the line of value to a Mobil collector. How many of these have you seen for sale in any condition? I think even with the damage this sign would clean up nicely and be pretty presentable.
